This hands-on class is all about starting seeds in the fall for spring flowers. Each participant will receive 6 packets of cool flower seeds; 4 varieties will be started during the class into soil blocks, and 2 varieties will go home to be directly sown into the garden or landscape. While we specialize in growing flowers, this is a skill that can also be applied to starting vegetables as well. You will also receive the information on taking care of your seedlings and transplanting them into the outdoors.
Plan to spend 1.5-2 hours with us. Flower Varieties you will receive include Snapdragons, Bachelor Buttons, Sweet William, Feverfew, Queen Anne's Lace, and Statice
